My Story

It was my always dream to become a farmer once the right time comes. And it happened at the end of last year, 2021. After my long-term business career in Banking and Finance, I founded a company that reflects my way of thinking about our, people's, interaction with Mother Nature, Solarponic Greens. Work closely with Nature and make no unneeded harm to her.

Officially, I became a farmer in December 2021 and started right after with building the first, rather experimental, greenhouse. My way of farming is based on natural processes of cultivate vegetables. Producing healthy and nutrient rich greens without compromising quality, this is my aim. All that utilising the power of hydroponics. In my way, hydroponics without chemicals and as much as possible utilising locally sourced materials, extracts and ferments.

Why Solarponic ? Because Sun and Water are essential elements of Life. And they are abundant here on Earth. Especially solar light is still, enormously, untapped source of energy nowadays. Passive Solar Greenhousing, as an approach to more energy sustainable future of greenhousing, caught my attention right from the start. And I went deep in and started reading all matter-relevant books I found. I'm still in the learning circle, but I'm confident that I am on the right path that brings me to producing healthy products with totally sustainable process using Solar light as the only source of energy for my Greenhouse.

Only by Sun fed greenhousing

We use Sun as the only source of energy for our greenhouse. Principles of solar energy storage and its release inside the greenhouse (solar passivity) together with photovoltaic panels and solar battery fully suffice our year-round need for energy to keep our plants striving.
